Shade Structures
A shade structure is a fabric membrane which is tensioned over a steel frame. The
fabric may be either shadecloth or waterproof PVC. Shade structures are particularly
suitable for covering large areas often found in school playgrounds and commercial
premises. Cantilevered structures reduce the number of posts required, resulting in fewer
obstructions for cars and pedestrians.
